LiftLog — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LiftLog ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the LiftLog mobile application. By using LiftLog you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

• Account information: if you create an account, we collect your email address and display name to authenticate you and sync your data.
• Workout data: exercises, templates, workout sessions, sets, reps, weights, achievements, and app settings that you enter.
• Community content: if you choose to publish a workout to the community, the workout's name, description, and exercise list are stored so other users can view and download it.
• Purchase information: when you subscribe to LiftLog Pro, our payments partner processes the transaction and shares your subscription status with us. We never receive your full payment-card details.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide core functionality — logging workouts and tracking progress.
• To sync your data across your devices when you are signed in.
• To process and restore subscription purchases.
• To operate community features you choose to use.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Local Storage and Cloud Sync

LiftLog is offline-first. Your data is stored locally on your device. If you create an account, your data is also backed up to our cloud provider so you can restore it on a new device. If you use the app as a guest, your data stays on your device only and is not uploaded.

Community Content and Moderation

Workouts you publish to the community are visible to other users. You can report objectionable content and block other users from within the app. Content reported by multiple users is removed automatically, and we remove violating content and may remove the accounts of users who post it. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following service providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — authentication and encrypted cloud database hosting.
• RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase validation.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access and edit: you can view and edit your data directly in the app.
• Delete your account: you can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data from Settings → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.

Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your cloud data is permanently removed. Local data is removed when you delete the app or clear its data.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

LiftLog is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
